| Day 2 |
 Today's pumpkin is the silly bat. I really like this one and wanted something funny to cheer me up.
It has been a long day today, my stupid foot is just not cooperating with anything. The damn thing is hurting more today than it has in a few days. One of the oddest things is how there is pain on the opposite side of the surgery site, where, as far as I know, nothing was worked on. Right now, I'm in simple dressing and ace bandage, down from a half-cast and multiple ace bandages.
On Monday, I'll be moved into the "boot" which is basically a big grey thing that will allow me to put a small amount of weight on the leg. That is if the incision is healed all the way. If it isn't, I have no idea what they'll move me into.
This whole surgery thing is really off putting, I have a couple more coming up in the next 6-8 months, although not all of them will disable me to the point that I can't walk. It's just the thought of having to go through more and more recovery time is unnerving. |
