Day 1

The first day of National Blog Posting Month is upon us, and I am setting myself up to update every day for the next 2 months. This month fro NaBlPoMo and next month for Holidailies. I do tend to do very well for Holidailies as there is the added push for me. While I don't understand why it works, we'll go with it.

Since today is the day after Halloween, I have Jack-o-Lantern pictures to share. And, since I do have so many. I will only share one a day of them. Today is alien pumpkin, one of my favorites from this year, and one of the easiest to carve. Now, for long time readers, Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday. I carve multiple pumpkins every year, always dress up and sit outside to hand out candy. It has really made me sad as fewer and fewer children trick or treat every year.

We ended up with around 60 kids, all in costume, many in very creative costumes this year. Considering the past few years we have had multiple "teenager going to hang out" costumes, I was fairly impressed this year. Unfortunately my batteries died so I have no pictures of any kids other than the ones related to me. And, of course, I have to share them with you.

From left to right: Tre, Colson, Charlie, and Kyrsie

As you can see Tre was really into being Harry Potter. I think he was trying to turn me into someone who would let him go trick or treating and stop taking pictures.

I did, eventually. But, how can you not get pictures of these cute little guys. Even if the little lion had no clue of what was going on.

One more picture for today, as y'all have to see a close-up of
Tre's face with his Harry Potter glasses on. Isn't he a cutie?

So, what did you do for Halloween? And, what is your favorite Holiday?
